International activityINTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY OF The modern world is integrated in all directions. Higher vocational training didn’t become an exception. Well realizing advantages of integration into world educational space, the Stavropol State Agrarian University while searching the niche in the international educational space have been studying and continuing to adopt experience from leading high schools of Russia: the Higher school of Economy, Financial Academy at the Government of the Russian Federation, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Russian State Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev, the Russian Economic Academy named after G.V. Plehanov, Moscow state university of international relationship, the Moscow State University, Diplomatic Academy. The basic directions of the international activity of the - Implementation of the international educational and research programs and projects; - The organization of training and practice abroad for students, post-graduate students and teachers of university; - Participation in process of integration of the agrarian higher schools in world educational community; - Carrying out of the international scientific conferences and seminars; - Training and training of foreign students, post-graduate students and experts (a strategic perspective direction over which work is conducted); - Attraction of the international investments into university development. Development of cooperation of SSAU with other universities of the world has begun with realization of joint European projects of Tempus «the Academic network on information-consulting activity» and «economic education Internationalization in SSAU», which in 2004 chair of World economy of SSAU began together with University of Hohenheim (Germany), University Wageningen (Netherlands), the Moscow state agricultural academy named after K.A. Timirjazev. Now the quantity of the countries-partners of SSAU has reached 62.

Being a part of the Great Charter of Universities proves that educational services rendered by university and conducted scientific researches correspond to the highest world standards of quality. The university is a member of the Association of European Business which includes today more than 650 largest world companies, enterprises and organizations. Within the limits of Association, the university cooperates with the leading world companies: BASF, EBERTA, John Deere, KPMG, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, DLG and many others. It is given particular attention for development of the international partnership. Only within 2010 In 2009 SSAU became a member of the European Association of Life Sciences Universities, uniting 62 agrarian and natural-science universities from 30 countries of Europe (from them only 3 high schools from Russia). Teachers of At university within the limits of the priority national project "Education" it was created an innovative educational research and production cluster. In 2007-2008 115 employees of SSAU have passed improvement of professional skill in leading agrarian high schools of Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Sweden, Italy in the field of agrarian economy, agronomics, veterinary medicine, mechanization, electrification, protection of plants.
