Scientific researches performance is carried out both at the expense of financing within the limits of the state contracts with the Ministry of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory, and at the expense of economical treatments. Work on the project «Development of rural credit cooperative societies and the agribusiness enterprises in the North Caucasus» is organized together with noncommercial corporation "ACDI/VOCA". Within the limits of the given project 66 students and 87 students were prepared in 2007-2008 and in 2009-2010 respectively. They were trained in rural consumer cooperative societies of Stavropol Territory and the Astrakhan region.

For last 3 years faculty staff published over 950 works, including 88 articles in the central editions and editions from high accreditation commission list of the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science, 37 monographies, 21 manual with signature stamp educational methodological association of high schools of Russia, the ministries and departments. According to innovative development of high school in faculty structure of scientific, educational, practical laboratories created within the limits of the national project "Education" function "Minibank" (the head is senior lecturer G.T. Gurnovich); «Insurance shop» (the head is senior lecturer S.G. Shmatko); "Stock exchange" (the head is senior lecturer A.A. Gladilin); programming laboratory (the head is the professor A. V. Shuvaev); the Certificated educational center financially analytical program “Prоject Expert "and" Audit Expert »(the head is the senior lecturer L.A. Latysheva), and also "STATUS-EKO" (the head is professor N.N. Vorobev).

Modern technologies of testing, intermediate control and total certification of graduates actively are developed and take root for maintenance of realized basic educational programs and educational process quality improvement at faculty. The Faculty pays huge attention to students’ independent work activization, perfection of pedagogical skill, updating of methodical maintenance of educational process, etc. It has yielded positive results that are visually reflected in such integrated indicators as progress of students, results of the state total certification which were and continue to remain high enough.

Preservation and increase the considerable positive experience which is saved up by high school in financial and economic education, and also requirement of consecutive and purposeful carrying out of the ripened innovative transformations have caused economists’ preparation directions list expansion necessity. Now passes licensing of programs of a bachelor degree in directions: “Innovations”, “Statistics”, “Regional Studies”. The following magistracy directions are opened “Financial management”, “Banks and bank activity”, “Estimation of movable and other property in commercial crediting”. For the purpose of optimization of interaction with foreign educational institutions within the limits of the reached arrangements on carrying out exchange programs close cooperation of faculty teachers with representations of the international organizations supporting educational, enterprise and innovative activity in interests of realization of problems put before university is carried out.

One of Center activity kinds is voluntary work. Kind relations have developed at students of faculty with regional children's home № 3 Bishpagir villiage, Grachevsky area. They render the feasible help at carrying out of days of cleanliness and health, the organization of training programs and intellectual competitions.

Students actively are engaged in research work: participate in conferences, the Olympic Games, programs of the international, All-Russia, high school level, become winners and winners of various competitions.
