Faculty of Economics
The Faculty of Economics was founded in 1961. From the moment of its foundation serious problems on perfection of training of highly skilled and competitive experts, teaching improvement of quality, strengthening and development of material base. Today it is faculty on which there is more than 2000 students of internal and correspondence forms of training. At faculty the brilliant teaching staff includes 12 doctors, 69 Cand.Econ.Sci., 9 senior teachers, 16 assistants, 66 post-graduate students. Administration of SSAU led by professor V.I. Trukhachev creates modern educational material resources with introduction of computer technologies, audio-and video equipment. At faculty purposeful activity on preparation of scientists is carried out in postgraduate study. Contacts to educational institutions of near and far abroad extend, all-round communications with manufacture and managing subjects in the North Caucasian federal district become stronger. Scientists and students actively participate in the international, All-Russia, regional, high school, faculty scientifically-practical conferences.
For the last years students repeatedly won in prestigious competitions such as “My legislative initiative”, “Educational methodical scientific research contest”, “Young about young”, in the Contests and the competitions spent by the Union of economists and financiers, the Free economic society of The basic directions of researches are perfection of the organizational-economic mechanism in the conditions of multi structural economy in agriculture, cooperation and integration of its branches, formation and development of modern management in agriculture, and also re-structuring of the agricultural enterprises. As a result of implementation of the national project “Education” were created 4 innovative research laboratories: function educational consulting information centre (the head is professor N.V. Bannikova); laboratory of marketing researches (the head is senior lecturer E.N. Belkina); laboratory of information and communication technologies (the head is senior lecturer V.P. Gerasimov); the centre of modelling of administrative technologies (the head is professor A.N. Bajdakov). Thus, the faculty teaching staff meets the requirements of the higher school and provides carrying out of scientific researches in various directions.
Faculty partners are the Russian state agrarian university ofnamed after K.A. Timirjazev, Financial academy at the Government of the Russian Federation, the Russian economic academy named after G.V. Plehanov, the Moscow state university named after M.V. Lomonosov, the Moscow state university of economy, statistics and computer science, the European business school (Kaliningrad), the Ulyanovsk state university (the Russian-American faculty), the Yaroslavl state university of P.G. Demidov, the Bashkir state agrarian university, the Omsk state agrarian university, the Samara agricultural academy. Such cooperation promotes improvement of professional skill of teachers and qualities of education. Research works are carried out on 28 complex themes. Scientists of faculty have received copyright certificates on information registration of programs for computer. Preparation and retraining of scientific and pedagogical staff are held actively. In 2005-2009 4 doctor's (professor O.N. Kusakina, P.A. Budko, Н.V. Bannikova, Y.V. Vasilev) and 58 master's theses were protected. Teachers accept active participation in various scientific and technical and scientifically-methodical actions. At faculty adhere to a principle of passage by students of practice in one organization throughout all period of training with prospect of the future employment of graduates at the given enterprise. Following the results of protection of reports on industrial practice passage student's scientific conferences are spent, and also collections of proceedings are published. Paramount value is given to use in educational process of modern computer facilities and information technologies. Employees of faculty actively use modern techniques of training and the form of the organization of educational process: the electronic textbooks training software products; video lectures and videoconferences; system of control training programs of the test control of knowledge, electronic libraries on the basic disciplines of specializations; business games, educational discussions. The huge attention at faculty is given to educational work. In 2005-2010 students won the first places in university competitions: "KVN", “the Cup of the first-year student”, “Student's spring”, “Young talents”, “And well, guys!”, “Ms. University”, etc. Traditional activities are: “Sports against drugs”, “Ms. Faculty”, "Mellow autumn", “Round table with veterans”, “Meeting without ties”, “Day of ideas”, “Autumn ball of economists”, "Pancake week", “Tatiana’s day”.
